Mykola Ivanovych, 85, spent all his life in Sumy. His wife and son died some time ago, so he sold his flat and summer cottage and donated the money to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
He asked his niece to find a volunteer fund in Sumy that gathers money for the army. That's how he appeared in NGO "Sumy" and donated $35 000.
Mykola Ivanovych has his dwelling: he lives in a neat house and cares for his yard. He keeps in touch with his relatives and visits them frequently.
Meanwhile, the volunteers have already started consulting with the soldiers regarding the needs that a generous donation from Mykola Ivanovych might cover.
